Blowing in the Wind - Muskegon, MI & The Future of Offshore Wind Generation
This 12 minute film tells the story of the development of Offshore Wind Generation in Lake Michigan in 2009-2010 including the work of the Governor's GLOW Council, proposals by Scandia Wind, and the resistance posed by some shoreline land owners. It answers the questions "Why Offshore Wind?" "Why Lake Michigan?" and "What unique capacities does the Muskegon area of Michigan bring to this new industry?"
